“ Got a fish and chips from here with curry sauce as heard good things about how they've been here 30 years or so. Actually saw TFT rate them highly. Not sure if this was a one off issue or if they made sure his food was extra good as they knew it'll be reviewed. Got 2 fish and chips, they were both the same. The chips were nice, curry sauce was also spot on. The let down was the fish itself. It was very oily and soggy, it they'd have let it fry for a little longer it could have been better. This let it down, I was disappointed. Priced fairly at £8.80 I think for a fish and chips. Curry sauce £0.80. The fish was just covered in oil, soggy and not how it was in a review that I saw. Should have been crunchy and not oily which is exactly what it was in the review. If they can sort this issue out it would be a good place. The workers are a bit moody too could do with smiling... ”
